飯田楽器から出ていた Iida バンジョーは日本国内ではあまり見かけないメーカーでした。主にUSAへ輸出していたモデルのようです。飯田楽器は、低価格帯のピアレスバンジョーの製造をしていたように思います。
他に、OEM製造なんかも力をいれていたようで、USAグルーン楽器店向けのGTR Banjoや、モーリスBanjoなんかも飯田楽器が作っていたようです。
詳しい資料がないので、あまり良くわかりません。
1970年代のGibson
RB-800 modern Hearts and Flowers モデルをにコピーしています。
ペグヘッド裏側には"Made in Japam"のシールが貼ってあることから、輸出を意識したように思います。
