Gibson Bluegrassバンジョーは、最もスタンダードなブルーグラスバンジョーです。歴史も古く第2次世界大戦前から製作しています。現行のGibson 5 String Banjoはどれも安定した音質・音量で、残念ながら国産バンジョーでは一部を除いて大部分は敵いません。

1954年から1969年頃まで、RB-250はギターシェイプのペグヘッドにBowtieインレイパターンを持つモデルでした。
50年代の初期のモデルはアーチトップリングでした。
フィンガーボードが少しだけラディウス形状でフレットワイヤーが太めのエレキギター用のような感じです。

ベースは、戦前のRB-4 Flying Eagle インレイの再現モデルです。
ネックをGibsonカスタムショップでアールのついた指板(Radiused Fingerboard)仕様にしてあり、ヘッドストックにバインディングがあります。
ネックとリゾネータはウ
ォルナット材です。
2,3弦にはキースチューナーを取り付け、リムをTony pass に換装しています。

インレイの再現モデルです。




















もちろん2，3弦にはキースチューナー付き。
 アールスクラッグス氏のオリジナルバンジョーはゴールドプレートでしたが、経年でゴールドプレートが取れた状態を再現したニッケルプレートモデルだそうだ。

eBayに出品されていたジャンク状態の1961年製TB-250をリペアして５弦にコンバージョンしたものです。
ネックは1962年製のRB-250です。










コンバージョン前、入手時ジャンク状態のTB-250です。
